YOUR Music--Whenever You Want It

.
Free!
On Your Computer!

This fun website,
www.pandora.com will create "radio stations" just for you--to listen to on your computer.

All you have to do is type in the name of an artist or the name of a favorite song and you will hear hour after hour of that artist's songs AND other artists who play similar music.

A nice way to find new music! If you want upbeat, try "Jack Johnson". If you like old acoustic blues, try "Cephas & Wiggins". These are two of my favorites.

My guess is that you will need to have a broadband Internet connection, but I'm not sure. Enjoy!

Be Inspired on Election Day - Major Peace Event

Friends,

If you would like truly to be inspired and send out healing on Election Day, please join the PeaceWeavers in Buffalo as we host New York Times Best Selling Author Dr. Masaru Emoto. Over 500 people will be gathered at this amazing peace event, co-sponsored by Barnes & Noble and 20 other businesses in Buffalo. We will have African Kora & drumming, a lecture and slide presentation by Dr. Emoto, and an audience blessing of Great Lakes water, and book-signing.

Dr. Emoto's work is based on photographing frozen water crystals. He discovered many fascinating differences in the crystalline structures of water from many pristine and polluted sources around the globe. He also discovered that frozen water crystals reveal amazing transformations when exposed to specific external stimuli including words, music, photographs, thoughts and prayer. His work was recently featured in the remarkable film What the Bleep Do We Know?

Dr. Emoto's research points to how we can positively impact our environment as well as our health and well being. It helps us understand how every one of us influences the world around us everyday, in many ways. His message is personal to each of us since humans (and the earth's surface) are comprised mostly of water. This special evening is one of only eleven stops he is making in North America during his world tour.

If you want to make a stand for Peace on Election Day, vote and then join us for a truly inspiring evening. Here's the details.

Posting Your Event on the Beeline by e-mail is EASY!

1.  Type the title of your post in the "subject line" of your e-mail.  Try to make it clear and include a date or a subject, such as Poetry Reading, Music, Dance, Book Discussion.  Stuff like that because the title is the first thing readers of the Beeline Blog will see.

2.  Type (or cut and paste) the information about your event, want-ad, or posting in the "body" of your e-mail.  You can write it in normal paragraph form or format your information any way you choose.

3.  Send your e-mail to purplebee333dotSecretwordAtBlogger.com.  That's all.  Your information is published!

Please don't use this feature yet.  There may still be some glitches.  For example, I don't know if anyone who is a contributor to the Beeline may use it, or if it is only for a contributor with administrative privleges.

Wed. Nov. 15th -- Book Discussion by HANK STONE --Wayland Free Library

Hank Stone speaking at Wayland Free Library at 7 PM on Wednesday Nov. 15th about book on future.

CREATING THE FUTURE Free Book Discussion People are increasingly aware that our planet can't indefinitely sustain human civilization as we have created it. The early warning signs of global warming, peak oil, resource depletion, and perpetual war are already upon us. Our culture teaches us that we are powerless to correct these huge problems, so we shrug our shoulders, continue to live as we have, and hope for the best. But there is an alternative to powerless resignation and to denial. It's called "joyful activism"--a way of living that's life-fulfilling and sustainable. By following its principles, we can create a life that's meaningful to ourselves and that helps create a different future for ourselves and our children. We invite you to join us to read and talk about this using a visionary yet down-to-earth book recently written by local author Hank Stone, "TRANSFORMATION: Human Success through Joyful Activism."

We will distribute the book by email in 6 sections, and discuss one section each week. There is no charge for the book or participation. Discussions will take place 2nd & 3rd or 4th Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM at the Wayland Free Library, W. Naples Street Rd. in Wayland Introduction: Joyful activism allows addressing very large scale problems. Why we have to change course for a positive human future.Ten rules for joyful activism.Ending war / population-resource balance / peak oilRestoring American democracy, andSolving world problems.Discussion sessions will be co-facilitated by Rev. Sat. Nov 4th Good Music Good Food--Brooke and Elaine

Brook and Elaine will be playing this Saturday, November 4th from 5 to 8 PM at the Esson Haus. The essen Haus is a restaurant on 14A just North of Penn Yan. It is in the heart of Mennonite country.

There is a gift shop at the restaurant that carries beautiful handmade Mennonite quilts (as well as Brooke and Elaine CD's). Brooke says, "The last time we played there, I had the chicken and biscuits and they were delicious. I'm already thinking about what to order this time around!"

It will be a wonderful evening of fine music and fine food!
